Overview
Once the company registration process is complete, your company should be registered in Bolpatra. To begin with, let's understand what bolpatra is.
What is bolpatra?
Bolpatra is a national e-government procurement (e-GP) portal that is developed and hosted by the Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO), Singha Durbar, to carry out any procurement act of the public entity of the Nepal Government. Any private firm or company can access Bolpatra through www.bolpatra.gov.np.
How to get registered in PPMO?
You can navigate to https://www.bolpatra.gov.np with any internet browser. Once the site is open, you can see the log-in option and click on the Register New User option. The step is followed by basic form fill-up options with the asterisk sign * as a mandatory field. The form has three main categories, as follows:.
- Organizational Details
- Personal Details
- Document Details
Organizational Details
This form fill-up section includes basic organization details like organization name, registration number, registration date, organization type, VAT/PAN number, number of staff, company office address, mail ID, etc. Once you fill out the form, you can click on the next option and navigate to personal details.
Personal Details
In this section, you can find personal details like name, contact number, mail ID, contact number, user ID option, password, followed by a security question for the password recovery process. Once you fill up the personal details, you can click on the next option and navigate to the document details details.
Document Details
This is the third and last step in the registration process. In this section, you have to upload documents in PDF format with a document size less than 1 MB. You have to upload a company registration scan copy, a VAT/PAN registration scan copy, and a power of attorney. The power of attorney should be on the letterhead with a stamp. You can copy and paste the following sample into your letterhead to upload in the registration process.

We further certify that, on behalf of our firm, the information provided by him or her is true and complete.
We hereby permit and authorize him/her to perform the following activities in the e-GP system:
- Accomplishing the firm registration process
- Entry and updating of the firm's data and information
- Submitting Clarification Queries
- Preparing a bid and submitting a bid response
- Making modifications and withdrawing submitted bids
- Lodging complains against a procurement decision.
- Lodging complains against a procurement decision.
- Add and block other officer and staff users.
- Any other activities in the system that are necessary to be done by him or her
We further certify that other officer users added by him/her in the system are also authorized to perform the above-mentioned activities.
All the information and documents made or submitted in the system are true, and we accept that any misinterpretation or misrepresentation contained in this e-GP system may lead to blocking our access and registration by the PPMO.
