Construction of Verticle Extension of Jawan Line 40 Bed(1st Floor) issued by Directorate of VVIP Security at Narayanhiti 1, Kathmandu issued on 7-05-2079 under National Competitive Bidding procedures with contract ID:NA/DVVIPS/079/80/01 was awarded to Innovate Engineering Consultant and Construction Company Pvt. Ltd. The ongoing construction work is targeted to be completed withing twelve months. The standard earthquake resistant building features roof truss.

Key Features

The building features king post truss with premium galvanized corrugated roofing sheets. 6 inch Roof gutter is used for rain water . Salwood elves across the perimeter of truss has added aesthetic beauty to the building. 12 mm moisture resistant gypsum board is used as false ceiling with led concealed light. Each room is provided with ceiling fan, TV and Internet point. Sufficient aluminum windows of size 4'*6' with section thickness 1.2mm and clear glass 5mm thick is provided in each room for natural installations. Each window is provided with mosquito sliding frame.Louvers are placed in each bathroom for air flow. Salwood chaukhat with 38mm solid-wood doors with one side teak has been used in room section whereas in bathroom cubicles aluminum doors are used. Power sockets by the side of every bed has been placed for easing charging facility and separate control unit for the fan has been installed. The building being 202 ft in length, features two staircase on either sides with normal steel staircase railings. Bathroom features glazed tiles whereas the rest of the room has screeding and punning finish on floor. The building being jawan line of the Nepal army, it's painted with military green and white color. The doors has varnish finish.

Quality Assurance

Every fundamental civil material like cement, sand, aggregate, rebar and bricks was lab tested and certified in order to assure the quality of the building. Sample of every concrete structure was taken for cube test to check the strength of the concrete. Under the instructions from site engineers and well trained works the building was completed by the end of Asadh 2080 and handed to the client.
